Chayse Mumford came to SEDOL in 2003 at age 3 with cerebral palsy, unable to walk or speak. However, with the support he’s received from his teachers and the SEDOL Foundation, new worlds have opened up for him.

Through the use of special “assistive technologies” funded in part by the Foundation, Chayse is now able to respond to questions and to initiate conversation. United Cerebral Palsy recently awarded him their “Infinitech Outstanding Student Technology Award,” recognizing his ability to master technology despite multiple disabilities.
